MediaCom North Group’s content marketing arm, MediaCom Beyond Advertising (MBA) have recently brought innovation alive for United Utilities when they partnered with them to create a video series, capturing the work they are doing with businesses in their Innovation Lab.

United Utilities collaborated with seven businesses across the world – from Penrith to Brisbane, in pursuit of better and more cost efficient services for their 7 million customers. Suppliers were carefully selected to help tackle key businesses challenges to ultimately help provide better, more cost effective services for customers.

The seven suppliers are innovating in areas that include; water efficiency (including a colour changing showerhead), IoT devices, digital transformation, automation and robotics.

Videographers from MBA’s in-house creative studio, worked with United Utilities and the chosen companies to create a series of videos for use on United Utilities web site and social media channels. In addition, the PR team worked to gain media coverage around each of the individual businesses to raise awareness of the initiative
