We are excited to announce that MediaCom North are certified ‘Buyers’ under the IAB Gold Standard: The first of any media agency to achieve this certification.

This is the culmination of a 6-month, in-depth process, and is a clear demonstration of the way we are supporting the industry to reduce ad fraud, to improve the digital advertising experience and to increase brand safety, with each advert we buy online.

We live in an increasingly complicated and connected world…
The impetuous evolution of the online advertising industry, leaves a growing knowledge gap in its wake. Sometimes, it can be unclear where individual adverts might end up, or who is profiting, throughout the digital ecosystem. This means that advertisers are at risk of wasting budget or unintentionally working against the best interest of their brand’s integrity.
Understandably, this can sometimes leave brand managers feeling hesitant to trust that they are using their advertising spend across the best channels and platforms for their brands.

MediaCom North is committed to being at the forefront of improving the digital ecosystem for its clients, and are working with the IAB to make digital advertising more safe and trustworthy for brands and consumers.

We believe operating this way is a key foundation when making data-driven decisions, and being confident that our marketing efforts reach the correct audience, in an ethical way.
To continue building a sustainable future for digital advertising, full collaboration across the industry is required; as, some of the challenges facing digital advertising are deeply engrained.

We are extremely proud to be part of the IAB’s Gold Standard initiative, and with the digital landscape evolving so rapidly, we know the current standards will need to be continuously reviewed and there will be further iterations, in the future.

So, the hard work has only just begun.
