A 15-strong group of Computerlovers (including CEO Tony Foggett) are taking part in the Manchester 100km bike ride on the 3rd September. (As you can see, we didn’t manage to round quite all of them up for this pic!)
They are cycling in aid of The Christie, a charity that’s a local institution and that many of us have a personal connection to. The money raised will help to fund lifesaving research and provide inspiration and hope to cancer patients and their families.
The team Code pulled together for the ride all range somewhere along the scale from ‘hardy bike enthusiast’ to ‘total novice’ – but the lengthy 100km course is sure to be a real challenge for every one of them.
To make sure they’re as prepared as possible for the task ahead, they’ve installed a stationary bike in the office (see above pic) so they can all get a bit of practice in over the coming weeks.
Please help motivate our friends at Code Computerlove and support The Christie in their amazing work by making a donation via the Code Velo’s Manchester 100km Fundraising Page.
