MediaCom are incredibly proud to be involved in the successful launch of the Tombola and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here sponsorship which began on November 18th.

The 2018 series got off to a brilliant start, with over 11m live viewers; this is the biggest audience on any channel this year, outside of the World Cup, which peaked at 11.9m viewers. The sponsorship was pulled together by the MediaCom Strategy and Partnerships team, along with the TV and MBA Content teams.

With activation planned across the series, including a Live TV Ad, influencer marketing campaign and in-app play-along game, this campaign demonstrates how a collaborative approach to planning can produce quality campaigns that both agency and client can both be proud of.

With our influencer campaign including the likes of TOWIE stars Lydia Bright and Yazmin Oukhellou, the sponsorship has the potential to reach a mass audience. This not only increases Tombola brand awareness but will in turn, encourage an increase in the number of people signing up to their site.

This influencer campaign was perfectly complemented with the in-app play-along game ‘Jungle Fever’. In this game, users had to match pairs of #tombolabugs within the allotted time limit to claim free tombola credit. Using their credit, users could then join the competition to potentially win a share of £250,000.
